It's day four of Vegan MoFo, and I'm already slacking off. I'm sorry, guys, but this has been a bitch of a day. Luckily, there was something to look forward to: CSA pickup! This is my CSA, in case anyone is interested. I've said it before, and I'll repeat it -- the CSA is awesome. For just $18 a week, I get a ton of fresh, mostly organic produce. Here you can see this week's delivery. Some of it is hard to see, so let me elaborate, roughly clockwise from noon: jalapenos, tomatoes, small (purely decorative, I think) pumpkins, bok choy, arugula, zucchini (in the middle of the table? I'm guessing ... they look a little strange), cilantro, sweet corn, eggplants (both purple and white), radishes, and dinosaur kale. Yes, all of that for only $18!

ReplyDeleteYeeeees! Schreiber has some openings for the Winter CSA if you are interested. This will be my third year getting a box of produce every two weeks from NOVEMBER 'til APRIL!!! I recommend it.
