I
read this morning that the world supply of chocolate may be in serious danger in the next few decades because of projected increases in world temperature. Expected increases of just 2* C (3.6* F) over the next forty years will make it too hot to grow cocoa in many parts of the world. First the
peanut butter, and now the
chocolate? We need to get some serious science going before these predictions become realities. Start brainstorming!
Maybe there's hope? http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2011/10/10/141153396/in-peru-a-hunt-for-chocolate-like-youve-never-tasted-it?ft=1&f=1053
ReplyDeleteperhaps we can find a cave...Either the temperature will be more suitable or we can use it to stock pile...
